Heros

Over the years I have had many different heros who ranged from Superman to modern day individuals. Fortunately, my heros have matured along with my development over the years, so I don't go to sleep at night hoping tomorrow I will be able to fly like Superman.

One of my current heros is, strangely enough, my mother-in-law, Olive. This WWII war bride immigrated from England, raised a family, and at the tender age of 85 is now a competitive Ballroom dancer. She competes with the best of the dancers (most about half her age) and wins at the Tango, Cha Cha, Foxtrot, Swing, and many others (including the Quick Step, which is exhausting just to watch).

I really believe we have a place in our life where we reach a fork in the road. One way goes to "Life is hard", the other goes to "Life is fun". We have a choice, no matter what our circumstances, to go down either path.

Olive and I are on the "Life is fun" path. She just dances better on it than I do.

Readers’ hearts will be beating hard as they join in this adventure where people come back from the dead, wear so many facades you’re not quite sure who’s on the good or bad side of the law, while experiencing the growing attraction between the lady ‘cop’ who could be lying through her teeth and the normally bored psychologist who stepped into the adventure of a lifetime.

The author, a practicing psychotherapist, certainly knows how to light a fire at the beginning of a tale and guide the reader through all types of personalities and red herrings that will make them very disappointed when the story has to come to an end.

Quill Says: This is one psychologist who has met his match when it comes to a truly astonishing female!
