The brake light went out on my car the other day. No big deal, just needs a new bulb. When I open the trunk to replace the bulb, there is nothing indicating that a tail light even exists. No wires, no fixture, no holder, just a metal frame. I notice a couple screws in the frame, so I take them out. Now the frame drops down and reveals a plastic holder with wires attached.Still no bulb.
I remove the plastic holder by detaching several wires and a small plastic clip that breaks as I remove it.
At last, some wires that run to what appears to be a bulb holder, but alas, no way to get to the bulb unless I unscrew the holder.
One hour later I finally get the bulb out. In my trunk I now have about twenty different parts that all have to be reassembled. It is enough to make a grown man cry. What ever happened to simplicity? Just Say'n
