It is that time in my life when I have to do a few things that are necessary but not necessarily fun. Have to have a stress test, which is like going to my workout in the gym, but with wires attached. Not a great fun time, but not a horrible experience either. Then there is the chest X-ray which is a time consumer, but not all the horrible either. Then there is the colonoscopy which is not fun, not pleasant, and frankly a pain in the ____.
The thing that always amazes me is why someone going to medical school would choose to specialize in doing colonoscopy!! I’m sure it fulfills some calling or desire to help people, but really, when does one choose to work with that part of human anatomy?
I would ask my doctor, but I may offend him in some way, and when you are out cold and that vulnerable, you want to make sure your doctor is happy with you. Just say’n
