Puppy sitting

My wife and I have the dubious honor of puppy sitting for one of our kids. I thought it might be like sitting for kids, but found several differences.
Don’t remember the kids ever chasing a plastic bottle all over the yard and then destroying it. Don’t remember the kids digging holes in the yard and then sleeping in them, but that might have happened now that I think about it. Remember changing kids diapers, but don’t think I ever had to chase after them with a shovel.
The one suffering the most with this experience is our old boxer, who is 10. The puppy just doesn’t understand the concept of sleeping. Found my dog hiding in the back of my bedroom, and his eyes said, “please don’t let the puppy know where I am.” As I heard the pounding of puppy footsteps going frantically up and down the hall, I patted his head, closed the door, and kept his location a secret. I know what it is like to be an old dog sometimes. Just Say’n.

Know what my old dog would like. If you join our blog as a follower he would be happy. If you leave a comment on the post, he would be ecstatic. If you don’t, we’ll send you the puppy for a week. Just Say’n.

Readers’ hearts will be beating hard as they join in this adventure where people come back from the dead, wear so many facades you’re not quite sure who’s on the good or bad side of the law, while experiencing the growing attraction between the lady ‘cop’ who could be lying through her teeth and the normally bored psychologist who stepped into the adventure of a lifetime.

The author, a practicing psychotherapist, certainly knows how to light a fire at the beginning of a tale and guide the reader through all types of personalities and red herrings that will make them very disappointed when the story has to come to an end.

Quill Says: This is one psychologist who has met his match when it comes to a truly astonishing female!
