See Me Roar

Was at a stop light today (which is the same as a go light but a different color) and the motorcycle pulled up next to me. He thought he was the greatest thing since the discovery of gold. I mean, he was leather from head to toe, had a motorcycle that had to weigh 3000 lbs., and he could make noise with it like a trumpet blast from hell.

Beneath his black helmet, he wore a long ponytail that rested upon the logo on the back of his leather jacket. The logo said something about Hell's somebody, but I could catch all of it.
All-in-all, this leather-bound masked marauder was very impressed with himself.

The light changed and he throttled up, popped the clutch.......and stalled his motor. As I drove away leaving him behind trying to start his big bike,  I chuckled and said a prayer of thanksgiving to God above for bringing me such a wonderful moment. Life is good all the time.

  1. That might be reversed one day..A true biker does not ever judge his fellow man and also a biker will be the first in line to help anybody. The sun never shines on the same dog every day. You should be ashamed of yourself.Your car might stall at another light on another day, but I bet you will be glad to see the biker stop, turn around and lend you a helping hand, and even offer you a ride on his scooter to get help....Just say'n

  2. Seems to me that the one who is "impressed with himself", as you put it, is the one who feels the need to create a blog online all to feed their ego. Get over yourself man.

Now then, addressing your description of this biker who was so impressed with himself...

"Leather from head to toe". You may not know this kind sir, but leather is not a fashion statement, but a safety feature first. Think of it as being the same sort of thing as your comfy little car's airbags or seatbelts. You see, when a jackass like yourself comes along, who is so self-involved with his own little world that he doesn't see said biker and runs him off the road, the human body's durability fails in comparison to leather. It helps to absorb some of the pavement's punishment.

"...And he could make noise with it like a trumpet...". It seems you DO have a talent here man, as it's not an easy task to gay up the description of a Harley, an American motorcycle that has been around for ever 100 years. Still though, I will be on the lookout for this ton and a half piece of steel that sounds like a trumpet, because surely this must be a new bike I've never heard of before. I'm curious if they make a Tuba or French Horn version? Do you know? Drop me an email, I may be interested!

...."He wore a long ponytail". Hey fuckstick, Jesus had long hair, so leave it alone. Acting like the hair-style police isn't doing yourself any favors after that trumpet description! We're now ALL convinced that you're batting for the other side.

"The logo said something about Hell's something...". Yes, when I read this part, although I suspected that you were slightly retarded, I was sincerely trying to not jump to conclusions. I mean hey, everyone has their thing, and people are different. I gave you the benefit of the doubt is what I'm saying. But then the "Hell's Something" came along, and bingo bango, you're a fucking asshole! We all know who you're talking about here, and to me that's the funny part. Now brace yourself, this may take a few moments...

So much can be told from such a short statement. The fact that you labeled them as "Hell's Something" could mean a few different things. #1: Although you're an egotistical, self absorbed prick, you may not be as stupid as you sound in your blogs, since you opted to leave out one of the words in this "logo" of his. Perhaps you realized that although you THINK you're just such a special little jackass, that the wrong person may see that you put this on your blog, and there's a chance that your special little jackass might get kicked! #2: It's no secret that these "Hell's Somebody's" you mention are very good at making their presence known. So, you not saying what the patch said on your little blog was actually a shot at them by purposely not recognizing who they are. You refuse to even acknowledge their existence! Well let me tell ya something fucko, someone like you will never understand what something like that is all about, because it's beyond what your brain can even rationalize, and I won't waste my time trying to explain it to you! And lastly about your sighting, I don't believe you! I think you're a lying piece of shit! I have many reasons for my hypothesis, but a couple of the bigger and more obvious ones are continued below...

  3. ....I don't believe that you saw someone with that particular patch stopped at a redlight alone. Typically, people who belong to this organization travel in groups of at least two, and for good reason. Also, these "Hell's Somebody's" you mention ride their bikes literally every single day. Through the rain, the snow, extreme hot and cold temperatures, and all over the world! It's actually pretty rare for them to be driving anything BUT their bikes. So you're telling me that someone who rides their bike that much can't remember how the hell their clutch funtions!? No, that makes no sense at all. But here's what I think REALLY happened...

You were at a stop light (which is the same as a go light, only a different color...wow, thanks for that clarification. That would have kept me up all night!), and you saw SOMEBODY on a motorcycle. As obvious as it is that you need your own ego stroked (an online blog belonging to someone that nobody knows, come on man, really!??) you were a little jealous that he was getting attention from others also stopped. After all, he's a barbarian, why in the world would they notice him and not you!? It's not fair!!! So, you driften off to a daydream in which he was made to look like a fool, and that gave you some sort of temporary amusement and closure. Then the light turned green, and you decided that you would blog what happened in your daydream, paying this man back from stealing all of the attention from the other folks in their cars. And not only that, but you made him a member of the Hells Angels MC so that not only would THIS MAN look like a fool, but so would an entire worldwide group of attention stealers! You'd prove to the world that all bikers are idiots, even the ones at the top of the biker food chain.

Well sir, you HAVE indeed proved someone to be a grade A idiot, but it's not the man on the bike next to you, or anyone who rides with a Hells Angels patch on their back, it's the retard who was sitting in the car thinking this horseshit up. Congratulations my friend, YOU SIR, are a joke! Just sayin....

  4. Ryan, from Raleigh, I'd like to thank you sir from the bottom of my heart!
I too am a biker and have seen these so called "Mr. Rights" on the road. I wear my leathers and ride my bike as often as I breathe. Have it no other way!
When I read his blog I wanted to rip his throat out because obviously he has no idea of what our kind of people are all about! But when I read your blog, I couldn't even begin to add, you covered it all!
I belong to Women In The Wind, Toledo Chapter and wear my colors with pride! My group would stop and help a stranded 4 wheeler, probably even that jerk.
So Ryan in Raleigh, if our paths should cross my friend, I will be the lucky one. 'Til then Be safe out there, you know how them 4-wheelers are ;) Just Sayin.....

  5. I surrender. It really happened and the noise in my ear was deafening, but this guy was not your typical biker. I like bikers, spent time at bike week in Daytona, have friends who bike. sorry if I pissed you off, no harm intended. Let's be friends and enjoy the freedom of life. Life is too short to be so angry. Just Say'n

  6. I loved your post and totally get it. I see people every day that are impressed with themselves, many are quite young. I live in the DC area filled with aspiring leaders. Typically, I watch them feeling like they have just invented the world and smile to myself that I have been there, done that and I am glad I lived through it. I do not think you meant to attack the bikers of the world, it was the arrogance of the individual that struck you, in my opinion. It could have been anyone who is full of himself. I too, would have enjoyed leaving him in the dust to learn lessons I have already lived through and I am enjoying the peace.

Readers’ hearts will be beating hard as they join in this adventure where people come back from the dead, wear so many facades you’re not quite sure who’s on the good or bad side of the law, while experiencing the growing attraction between the lady ‘cop’ who could be lying through her teeth and the normally bored psychologist who stepped into the adventure of a lifetime.

The author, a practicing psychotherapist, certainly knows how to light a fire at the beginning of a tale and guide the reader through all types of personalities and red herrings that will make them very disappointed when the story has to come to an end.

Quill Says: This is one psychologist who has met his match when it comes to a truly astonishing female!
